Mr. Tang Houzhi was born in 1925, in Yunlin Guangxi. He is Honorary Vice Chairman of China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Com-mission (CIETAC),Vice Chairman of CCPIT/CCOIC Beijing Conciliation Centre, Professor of Law School of the Peoples University of China, Visiting Professor of Amoy University School of Law, Arbitration Adviser of UN International Trade Centre, Fellow and Chartered Arbitrator of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, Former Court Member of LCIA, Honorary Professor of Hong Kong City University School of Law, Vice President of International Federation of Commercial Arbitration Institutions (IFCAI). He also has made great academic achievements and has published more than 40 articles in Chinese and English, which greatly contribute to the development of the cause of Arbitration and Mediation of China and other countries.
